Intelligent Paddy Separator

This machine uses the differences in specific gravity between paddy and brown rice to make the paddy “float up” and the brown rice “sink”. At the same time, the brown rice moves up diagonally by virtue of the separating plate on the bidirectional tilting device and the scale convex tips on the plate surface. The rice that does not come into contact with the board surface is subjected to the reciprocating motion of the plate surface, causing it to move downward diagonally, achieving separation and outflow separately based on mass. The scale convex tip and separating plate structure designed for this machine has a high primary separation efficiency, with the short process flow. It is currently the state-of-the-art equipment for separating rice from paddy in China.

Purpose: To remove rice from paddy and remove paddy from rice.

The gravity paddy separator separates the brown rice from the husked rice mixture by utilizing different physical parameters such as specific gravity, friction coefficient and particle size of the brown rice and paddy in the husked rice mixture. The paddy mixture produces relative motion between materials under the sine movement of the separating plate, eventually layering the mixture. As a result, the brown rice with high specific gravity and small particle size occupies the lower space and pushed upward by the convex tip of the separator plate. At the same time, the brown rice gradually moves toward the brown-rice outlet due to the longitudinal tilt of the separating plate. On the contrary, the paddy with small specific gravity and large particle size slides towards the bottom direction of the separating plate relative to the brown rice; meanwhile, the paddy gradually slides towards the grain outlet subjected to the longitudinal tilt of the separating plate.
