The Action Plan for Food Saving puts forward new requirements for grain saving and loss reduction of agricultural machinery
Recently, the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council issued the Action Plan for Food Conservation and issued a notice requiring all regions and departments to earnestly implement it in combination with the actual situation. It is proposed that by 2025, the measures of grain saving and loss reduction in all links of the whole grain industry chain will be more solid and detailed, and the grain saving and loss reduction will be promoted to achieve more obvious results. The grain saving and loss reduction system, standard system and monitoring system will be basically established, the normal long-term governance mechanism will be basically sound, and the grain will be saved and waste will be opposed.
The plan emphasizes that we should strengthen agricultural production links to save and reduce losses. First, promote the use of seeds in agriculture. We will improve the approval standards for major grain crop varieties and speed up the selection of varieties that are suitable for planting and machinery. Increase the R&D and promotion of advanced and applicable precision seeders. Integrate and promote the key technologies such as rice factory centralized seedling raising, corn single grain precision seeding, wheat precision semi-precision seeding, and seed and fertilizer simultaneous seeding. The second is to reduce the loss of harvest in the field. We will focus on promoting fine grain harvesting, strengthen the integration of agricultural machinery, agronomy and varieties, and improve the availability and coverage of key technologies. Formulate and revise the technical guidelines for the reduction of machine harvest losses of rice, corn, wheat and soybeans, and guide farmers to harvest at the right time. Encourage local governments to improve the supply capacity of emergency equipment and emergency services. Accelerate the promotion and application of intelligent green and efficient harvesting machinery. Incorporate the training of agricultural machineries into the cultivation project of high-quality farmers to improve the standardized operation ability of machineries. Third, improve the drying conditions of grain after production. The complete set of grain drying facilities and equipment will be included in the subsidy pilot scope of agricultural machinery new products to improve the drying capacity. Encourage large grain-producing counties to promote the application of environmental protection drying facilities and increase the promotion of green heat source drying equipment. Encourage new agricultural business entities, grain enterprises, grain post-production service centers, etc. to provide grain drying services for farmers, and the electricity for drying land is uniformly managed according to agricultural standards. Fourth, strengthen technical support for grain production. Promote the research and development of key common technologies in seeding and harvesting, such as air suction seeding, low loss feeding, high efficiency cleaning and operation monitoring. Breakthrough terrain matching technology, research and develop advanced and applicable technical equipment matching with agricultural production mode in hilly and mountainous areas, focus on precision manufacturing of key components, and reduce the loss of grain machinery harvest in hilly and mountainous areas. Strengthen the research and development of harvesting machinery for crops affected by disasters such as lodging. We will guide enterprises to tackle key problems in efficient and low-loss grain harvesting machinery, and optimize the ability of header, threshing, separation and cleaning. Research and develop mobile drying equipment to speed up test verification.
